Composed entirely of bespoke and handmade elements, the store is an ode to the beauty and elegance of the artisanal. Visitors are welcomed to the space but are first confronted by a large pivoting door. The 3m wall space is pierced by channels of light providing subtle illumination to an otherwise entirely dark space.
The hospitality corner is composed of a considered blend of steel and aluminium. The lounge, intentionally inviting, is centred by a day bed and complemented by a set of collaborative furniture pieces. Conceived by eminent visual artists, the items have a strong sense of individuality and presence.
The changing room stands like a graceful monolith with its triangular structure and copper edged, two-faced patinated mild steel door. A halo of light emanates above it, further reinforcing the serene appeal of the space.
The use of fabric was integral. Fabric as dress for the walls, fabric as a tool for visual merchandising and fabric as light control. Adorned with 3 layers of curtains of different heights, finished with a roulette overlock, the space is engulfed by soft and Harmonious light as a result.
